Upcoming development: Database language change from HESA to Higher Education Track
In the Winter 2025 Update, we will be updating the HEAT database to use references to ‘Higher Education Track’ in place of ‘HESA’
Upcoming development: Activity ‘Programme Title’ multi-select field to use a semi-colon to separate list values
In the Winter 2025 Update, we will be updating the Activity record 'Programme Title' multi-select list field to use a semi-colon as the list delimiter, which will replace the comma as the current method of separating list values within this field
Upcoming Postcode Profiler data update: Incorporation of new English and Welsh Indices of Deprivation data
Following the expected release of the new versions of the English and Welsh Indices of Deprivation data towards the end of 2025, the Postcode Profiler underlying dataset will be updated to include this new data in Spring 2026
