- Institution record data update: General data for Scottish institutions
The Institution records for Scottish institutions have now been updated with the General data pertaining to 2025/26
We are pleased to announce that the following fields have been updated for Scottish institutions, where data is available:
- ‘Name’
- ‘Street’
- ‘Locality’
- ‘Address3’
- ‘Town’
- ‘County’
- ‘Postcode’
- ‘Office Telephone’
- ‘Office Email’
- ‘Website’
- ‘Phase’
- ‘Government Office Region’
- ‘Local Authority Name/Code’
- ‘Lower Super Output Area’
- ‘Parliamentary Constituency’
- ‘Eastings/Northings’
These fields can be found in the General tab of an Institution record. This update relates to data for the 2025/26 Academic Year, which is the most recent available dataset, and applies to all Scottish institutions, where data is available.
Export Institution Data for Targeting
The fields are also included in the General tab of the Institution Profile Report and can be exported from the database via an Institution Export.
The Institution Profile Report contains the General tab data alongside other key demographical information, such as the Destinations and Attainment data, to support effective targeting of schools and colleges based on learner characteristics. It is available for download from the Reports section of the database (members only).

This can be accessed via the ellipsis (overflow menu) on any Institution record (members only) by selecting the option to ‘Download Source File’. Alternatively, this resource can be downloaded from the File Store (members only).
