- Update to the Higher Education Track Power BI Dashboard
An updated version of the Higher Education (HE) Track Dashboard accounting for the latest HE Track cycle is now available
We are pleased to announce that the HE Track Dashboard has been updated for the newly released data for the 2023/24 cycle.
What changes have been made to the dashboard?
In this release, the updates made to the dashboard are very minor and primarily focused on ensuring your organisation’s Student 2023/24 HE Track cycle data can be loaded into the dashboard, and any changes to the underlying dataset are accounted for.
Notable changes include:
- Line chart update: Improvement to the Expected HE Entry Year/HE Entry Year/Qualification Year on the x-axis of line charts to reflect an additional year’s worth of data
- Minor value changes: Updates to underlying queries to account for minor value changes in the latest HE Track data
- New slicer: On the A1.1 Tracked Cohort page, a new Slicer Bar has been added, allowing you to filter for Students found in HE alongside those not found in HE (yet)
- Comparator data: Updates to the Comparator Data file accounting for the latest available data for access, continuation and degree attainment metrics
- Minor language changes: Updates to reflect the latest HE Track cycle years, improve clarity and ensure consistency
Where can I access the updated dashboard?
You can access the latest version via the HE Track’s ‘Download Dashboard’ button under Evaluation Stage 4: Analyse Impact in the Reports area of the database (members only).
We strongly recommend you download the new dashboard as soon as you are ready to analyse your Students’ 2023/24 HE Track data. Previous versions of the dashboard will not allow you to effectively analyse the latest HE Track data.
You can generate a Student HE Track Report via the HE Track’s ‘Generate Data’ button in the Reports area of the database (members only), which will be processed overnight. Please note that only Users with the Roles Lead, Lead Lite, Coordinator, Coordinator Lite can use this Report option. If you are not authorised to access HE Track data, please contact your organisation’s HEAT Point of Contact.
