Outside of these hours, emergencies regarding the HEAT Service can be reported to HEAT Emergency via emergency@heat.ac.uk. This email address is continually monitored but should be used for urgent issues only.

Any reported security concerns, such as a data breach or suspicious online activity will be assessed and dealt with immediately. Other reported issues will be dealt with as high priority during working hours (Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM).

Information for Ambassadors

The Ambassador Portal is used by Ambassadors when applying for Work Opportunities, which are managed by your university or organisation.

If you are an Ambassador and you are experiencing issues accessing the Ambassador Portal, please try logging in using the following button.

Information for Referees

Universities and other organisations use HEAT to manage their outreach programmes and events and receive student applications to these through the system. Sometimes, these applications require a Referee from the student's school or college, and the university/organisation will invite you to submit a reference on the system.

As a Referee, you can use the Referee Portal to support a student's application and provide more information. If you are a Referee and are experiencing issues accessing the Referee Portal, please try logging in using the following button.

Meeting Guidance

To get the most out of your session, please come prepared with the topics or questions you would like to discuss and include these details in the booking form. Please note: These meetings are not for finance or legal enquiries and are only for staff at organisations who are subscribing HEAT members.

You can use this time to discuss topics such as:

  • Questions about issues or challenges you may be experiencing on the database
  • Enquiries about accessing or using a database feature
  • Updates or clarification regarding an existing HEAT Support Ticket
  • General guidance or feedback on system functionality

These meetings are information gathering sessions and we may not be able to immediately resolve your issue, which may need further investigation.
