- Call for Interest: A HEAT-Wonde Pilot to Access Institution-Wide Individual Pupil Data
Following an exciting meeting between Wonde and the membership, we are asking members to register their interest in taking part in an API test integration by completing a short survey. Register your interest by Friday 27th February 2026
Last summer, the HEAT team met with Wonde to understand their service and to assess whether it was something our members can benefit from. Wonde is a portal that facilitates the sharing of individual information from the institution a student attends to the organisation requesting access. It contains approximately 30,000 institutions, mainly schools, with 96% UK coverage. The service acts as a conduit between schools and colleges by offering an API that allows requesters to download whole institution cohort information.
This month, we held a webinar for those expressing initial interest for HEAT to pursue a fruitful collaborative opportunity. If you would like to read the discussion points of this meeting, the minutes are available to download from the File Store (members only). It was a productive discussion and we now have enough interest to pursue an API test integration.

The survey will close on Friday 27th February 2026. Once we have collated interest, we will work contact all parties interested in being part of the pilot to decide next steps.
