An updated version of the Higher Education (HE) Track Dashboard accounting for changes made to the Student HE Track Report is now available

We are pleased to announce that the HE Track Dashboard has been updated to allow Student HE Track Reports generated after the deployment of the Summer 2026 Update to be loaded into the HE Track Dashboard upon LIVE release, on Tuesday 16th June 2026.

Please note: You only need the new version of the dashboard (File Reference 13) to visualise Student HE Track Reports generated from 16th  June onwards. For reports generated before 16th June, please continue to use your existing dashboard file (File Reference 12). You will not be able to load a Student HE Track Report generated before 16th June into the new version of the HE Track Dashboard.

What changes have been made to the dashboard?

Due to field name changes implemented in the HE Track Report in the recent technical update, the underlying queries in the HE Track Dashboard required updating to allow for reports with the new field names to be loaded into the dashboard.

The content, layout and functionality of the dashboard remain unchanged.

Where can I access the updated dashboard?

You can access the latest version of the dashboard via the HE Track’s ‘Download Dashboard’ button under Evaluation Stage 4: Analyse Impact in the Reports area of the database (members only).

If you require a new Student HE Track Report, you can generate it via the HE Track’s ‘Generate Data’ button in the Reports area of the database (members only), which will be processed overnight. Please note that only Users with the Roles Lead, Lead Lite, Coordinator, Coordinator Lite can use this Report option. If you are not authorised to access HE Track data, please contact your organisation’s HEAT Point of Contact.

If you require a new copy of the previous dashboard to connect to a Student HE Track Report generated before 16th June, you can access File Reference 12 in the File Store (members only).
