- Update to HEAT dashboards following the release of the Winter 2025 Update
Following the release of the Winter 2025 Update to the LIVE database, all affected dashboards have been updated and are now ready to be downloaded
As the new Winter 2025 Update has been deployed on the LIVE database, we are pleased to announce that new versions of all HEAT dashboards, which were impacted by any improvements made, are now available. Read on to find out which dashboards are affected and what changes have been made.
What changes have been made to the dashboards?
Access Monitoring Power BI Dashboard
- Text referencing the ‘HESA Track’ has been changed to ‘Higher Education/HE Track’.
- The new delimiter for Programme Title values has been implemented in PowerQuery allowing for the analysis of individual Programme Titles in the dashboard.
Higher Education Track Power BI Dashboard
- The dashboard name has been updated from ‘HESA Track’ to ‘Higher Education Track’ and any text reference in the dashboard and in field names within the dashboard have been updated accordingly.
- The new delimiter for Programme Title values has been implemented in PowerQuery allowing for the analysis of individual Programme Titles in the dashboard.
Institution Profile Report Power BI Dashboard
- The dashboard source file drawing from the Institution Profile Report underlying dataset has been updated to include the new Percentage of Service Children field.
- The new Percentage of Service Children field has been incorporated into the customisable Targeting Criteria selection options, and as a visualisation for the Institution Profile section of the dashboard.
Post-Entry Monitoring Power BI Dashboard
- The new APP Target field from the Student record has been added to the Dashboard.
- The underlying PowerQuery has been updated to identify post-entry Activities based on the Activity Category ‘Post-Entry’.
- The new delimiter for Programme Title values has been implemented in PowerQuery allowing for the analysis of individual Programme Titles in the dashboard.
Where can I access the updated dashboards?
No changes have been made to where dashboards can be accessed. You can find the Access Monitoring Dashboard (Evaluation Stage 3), the Higher Education Track Dashboard (Evaluation Stage 4) and the Institution Profile Report Dashboard (Evaluation Stage 2) via the ‘Download Dashboard’ buttons for the respective reports in the Reports area of the database.
The Post-Entry Monitoring Dashboard can be accessed via the File Store.
Do I need to download the new dashboards right away?
As soon as you are planning on loading data extracted from the database after the LIVE deployment of the Winter 2025 Update on Tuesday 9th December 2025, we strongly recommend you also download the latest dashboard version to ensure all your data is loading in correctly and all features of the dashboard can be used as intended.
