Upcoming Institution record data update: Secondary and Post-16 Destinations data for English institutions

We are pleased to announce that we have been informed by the Department for Education (DfE) that an updated source dataset for the Secondary and Post-16 Destinations data will shortly be made publicly available. This update relates to data for the 2022/23 academic year (the most recent dataset available), and will apply to Secondary and 16 Plus institutions.

This updated version of the 2022/23 dataset will enhance the data available and will enable us to ensure we are able to map to and update the Institution records of as many institutions as possible on the database, utilising the range of IDs provided by the DfE.

We are aiming to have the updated Destinations data populated on Institution records as soon as possible following receipt of the data, and will release a Data Update as soon as this work is complete and ready to access.

For further information regarding which fields are updated on the Institution record and when, please see the Institution Profile Source resource. This can be accessed via the ellipsis (overflow menu) on any Institution record by selecting the option to ‘Download Source File’. Alternatively, this resource can be downloaded from the File Store (members only).
