Institution record data update: Special Educational Needs and Education, Health and Care Plan counts for English Institutions

We are pleased to announce that the following fields have been updated for English institutions, where data is available:

• ‘Number Receiving Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support’
• ‘Number with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)’

These fields can be found in the Characteristics tab of an Institution record, under the section titled ‘Other Characteristics’.

The fields are also included in the General Tab of the Institution Profile Report and are exportable via an Institution Export. The Institution Profile Report can be downloaded via the Reports section of the database (members only), and contains the Characteristics tab data, alongside other key demographical Institution data found in the Destinations and Attainment tabs.

This update relates to data for the 2024/25 Academic Year, which is the most recent available dataset, and the update applies to Primary and Secondary Phase institutions
