Institution record data update: Post-16 Characteristic counts for Welsh Institutions

We are pleased to announce that the following fields have been updated for all Welsh Post 16 Institutions, where data is available:

• ‘Number of Pupils’

This field can be found in the database, in the Characteristics tab of an Institution record and under the section titled ‘Pupil Counts’.

The field is also included in the General tab of the Institution Profile Report and is exportable via an Institution export. The Institution Profile Report can be downloaded via the Reports section of the database, and contains the Characteristics tab data, alongside other key demographical Institution data such as the Destinations and Attainment tabs.

This update relates to data for the 2023/24 Academic Year, which is the most recent available dataset, and the update applies to Further Education Phase Institutions.

For further information regarding which fields are updated for each country’s update, please see the Institution Profile Source resource, which can be accessed via the ellipsis (overflow menu) on any Institution record by selecting the option to ‘Download Source File’.
