- New HEAT Website & Enhanced Resource Access
Following the launch of our new website last month, we would like to notify members about the new ways to find resources and information on the HEAT database.
Last month, we were delighted to launch the brand-new HEAT website, which was designed with a focus on evaluation and research. We are pleased to have this new space to showcase our diverse system and service for both the public and members to explore.
With this exciting change came the closure of the member’s-only site and the Video Library. To facilitate this closure, we have changed the ways in which HEAT resources can be accessed, which was part of the work released in the Summer 2024 Update to the database.
Key resources:
- Videos: Members can now find videos and webinar recordings in the database File Store. The links are in the ‘Description’ field of each File Store record. We have grouped these thematically in line with our four-stage evaluation process as well as other areas like Data Protection. Simply select a link to explore the videos and watch these online. Members can find the File Store pages containing links to our videos easily by selecting the ‘Videos’ filter below the search bar on the File Store landing page
- i-Buttons: New i-Buttons have been added at ‘entity’ level, which is the main landing pages of the database e.g. Activities. They are small ‘i’ icons next to the entity title which contain helpful information and resources about the specific area and records that are housed there
- User Guides: Members can find guides on our wide range of tools and resources in the File Store, using the ‘User Guide’ filter below the search bar on the File Store landing page
We will be publicising upcoming webinars and events as usual, on our Events page on the website and on the homepage of the database. We are also pleased to announce we will also be launching a new version e-Bulletin soon, which reflects our visual branding on the new website.
