- Invitation to join new HEAT Post-Entry Working Group
Members are invited to express an interest in joining a new HEAT Post-Entry Working Group, driving the use of the HEAT system and tools for recording and evaluating post-entry Interventions. Register your interest by Monday 9th December 2024
We would like to invite Core members with an interest in using HEAT to record and evaluate post-entry activities to express their interest in joining a new HEAT Post-Entry Working Group (PEWG). The inaugural meeting of this new working group is due to take place online on Tuesday 21st of January 2025, 10:30-12:00 PM, with further details to be released soon.
If your new Access and Participation Plan (APP) includes intervention strategies for undergraduate continuation, completion and attainment, you may be particularly interested in joining this group and shaping how the HEAT system develops to support the membership to evaluate their post-entry activities.
Why join the Post-Entry Working Group?
The group will meet three times a year online for 1.5 hours and will provide a forum for members to:
- Share their experiences in using HEAT for recording and evaluating Post-entry activities
- Advise on how the HEAT system can be used most effectively for this purpose
- Identify and prioritise additional developments to the HEAT system for post-entry
- Shape the HEAT post-entry research agenda
Any Core HEAT member delivering post-entry activities is welcome to join the group although, in the first instance, we will restrict membership to one representative per Institution. ‘Substitutes’ are welcome where a representative is not able to attend a meeting.
