We’re pleased to announce that Affiliate members are now able to sit on three of our working groups: the HEAT Steering Group, HEAT System Review Panel and HEAT Research Group.
This change creates more opportunities for Affiliate members to get involved, share their perspectives and contribute to the ongoing development of the HEAT service, system and research community.
The HEAT Steering Group provides oversight of the collaborative service outcomes through a bi-annual review of the HEAT Service Plan. Members of the group monitor service outputs and help ensure that HEAT continues to meet its objectives and the needs of its membership.
The System Review Panel considers feedback from members and helps make decisions about the development of the HEAT system. Its recommendations and activity are reported by the HEAT Service to the Governance and Steering Groups as a standing agenda item.
The HEAT Research Group helps develop research capacity across the HEAT membership, providing a forum for members interested in supporting and developing research activity. The group meets at intervals determined by its members, with its development and activity reported by the HEAT Service to the Governance and Steering Groups as a standing agenda item.
We’d love to hear from Affiliate members who are interested in contributing to any of these groups.
If you would like to put yourself forward for the HEAT Steering Group, System Review Panel or Research Group, please register your interest by contacting HEAT Support.
We welcome involvement from Affiliate members and look forward to bringing a wider range of perspectives and experience into these groups.
