We are pleased to share that we have recently conducted this year’s Accessibility review. We have assessed all aspects of the HEAT system, the website, our document output and our online courses.
This is our fifth annual review, and we are pleased to announce that this year has been successful. Recommendations include adjustments to colour in the database and website improvements to keyboard accessibility. Please look out for Winter Technical Updates which will detail these changes as they are implemented. We have assessed all our online courses and conducted our usual check on File Store resources and have confirmed that all spot-checked records adhere to our Accessibility guidelines.
We are always keen to hear from any HEAT users who have any accessibility needs when using the Service. If you use a screen reader or do not use a mouse, or have any other ways in which you access and use HEAT, we would love to hear from you. We invite all users to get in touch with us via HEAT Support to find out more about our approach to Accessibility.
Our Case Study, outlining the accessibility journey, is available to access from the File Store on the database, and the HEAT Accessibility Statement is on the website. Should you have any questions regarding accessibility please get in touch with HEAT Support.
