We are delighted to announce that HE Track data for Ambassadors who entered HE from 2015 to 2024 is now available to members on the database. The 2024 HE Track Cycle data includes over 2.7 million Student and Ambassador records across all member organisations. Jisc have successfully matched nearly 1.5 million records to their HE population – a record number of matches for the HEAT membership.
To learn more about the educational datasets through which HEAT tracks individuals, please see our Evaluation and Tracking Overview page. More information about the HE Track data can be found on our Analysing Impact page.
Are you looking for the latest HE Track data for your Student records? The Student HE Track data is now also available.
You can generate an Ambassador HE Track Report via the HE Track’s ‘Generate Data’ button in the Reports area of the database (members only), which will be processed overnight.
Please note that only Users with the Roles Lead, Lead Lite, Coordinator, or Coordinator Lite can use this Report option. If you are not authorised to access HE Track data, please contact your organisation’s HEAT Point of Contact.
You can also view your Ambassadors’ HE Track data on the Ambassador record Higher Education tab (members only).
All versions of HE Track data referring to the previous tracking cycle must be deleted. If you have downloaded previous years’ HE Track data, please ensure you have deleted all copies you have saved locally. Before using the HE Track 2024/25 cycle dataset, we kindly request you read Jisc’s Terms and Conditions (members only).
API users should note that as part of the Summer Technical Update 2026 new endpoints have been created for HE Track data:
