As part of the HE Track 2024/25 cycle, a record number of over 2.7 million Student and Ambassador records were shared with Jisc. At the first stage of the data production process, Jisc link your records to their HE population. Early estimates suggest that Jisc have successfully linked over 1.4 million records and matches are more confident than ever. Analysis of the proportion of records linked as ‘match type 1’ – a very confident match based on name, date of birth and postcode – has shown a steady increase in the proportion of links being made with high confidence to over 80% of matches over the last three HE Track cycles.
Jisc will now work on the creation of our bespoke dataset, generating the multiple blocks of data we require, tracking your records from HE entry and continuation, to qualification and graduate outcomes. They expect to provide us with the linked data by early July. As always, we will check, process, and upload your data as quickly as possible once received.
Based on this new timeline, we are now anticipating the new HE Track data for the 2024/2025 cycle will be available for members around the end of July/early August 2026.
In the meantime, if you are new or want to learn more about how the HE Track data and dashboard can support your evaluation, why not check out our new online training course, further details for which can be found our New Launch: Interactive guide to the Higher Education Track Dashboard announcement.
