As part of our commitment to security, User authentication upon login will be available for members from September 2024. This will be optional at organisation level for the academic year of 2024-25, allowing the opportunity to incorporate this into any processes as needed.
Once your organisation enables User authentication, each HEAT User will be required to verify access, per login, every seven days. Upon login, Users will be presented with a prompt and an email containing a verification code sent to their HEAT registered email address. As with all automated emails, there can be an arrival delay. If more than five minutes has lapsed, please verify that the email is not in a junk or spam folder and contact your HEAT Point of Contact or report the issue directly to HEAT Support.
From September 2025, sign-on verification will be mandatory for all HEAT Users. For more information we have created the HEAT System and Authentication document (members only), which can be accessed on File Store. It provides general information on verification alongside key dates for adopting its use.
If you any queries regarding this update, please contact HEAT Support.
