HEAT’s Evaluation Plans Tool has been aligned with the Office for Student’s Access and Participation Plan (APP) reporting template, making reporting on targets as easy as possible for members.
Importantly, Evaluation Plans are integrated into the database, allowing members to link their plans to their ‘live’ data on delivery. This makes it possible for members to monitor the data that is available for evaluation, ensuring it will be there when the time comes to report on outcomes.
By using the Evaluation Plans Tool, members can create a Theory of Change to set out the intended outcomes and impact of their activity.
The tool then guides users through the process of selecting how they intend to measure these outcomes to encourage the use of robust methods that can yield data capable of generating higher standards of evidence.
TASO have designed a practical evaluation resource enabling practitioners and evaluators to consistently label and record outcomes for activities they deliver.
TASO’s MOAT has been integrated into our Theory of Change builder to support members in selecting the most appropriate outcomes for their interventions, based on the available evidence.
The Evaluation Plans Tool also provides a functionality for peer evaluation as members can share their plans with named users from different institutions via a secure URL link. This draws on our strengths as a collaboration, providing a system to share knowledge and expertise across the membership.
Identify target schools and colleges based on comprehensive data which profiles learner characteristics, and collaborate with members to share data and reduce gaps in coverage.
