We are pleased to announce that the Assessment of Performance (AoP) Power BI Dashboard has been updated to align with the most recent guidance from the Office for Students (OfS) in regard to rebuilding the student outcome and experience measures. In this update, we have also implemented member feedback in regard to additional fields that are considered within the measure calculations.
The AoP Dashboard was launched in May 2024 and is designed to help members visualise their own Office for Students (OfS) Portal Data, fulfil their obligation to assess their performance for their new Access and Participation Plan (APP), as well as support with the Planning section of the Evaluation cycle.
The dashboard has been designed to visualise the Access, Continuation, Completion and Success of your entrants, using characteristics included in the Equality of Risk Register (EORR), as contained in your institution’s student level ‘OfS Portal data’. Please watch the recording of the Assessment of Performance Dashboard Launch Webinar on File Store (members only).
This update applies changes to the calculated columns and measures that are used to rebuild the OfS measures, supporting you to explore your organisation’s Student-level OfS portal data. This update also implements member feedback in regard to the measure calculations, and a fix to a reported issue concerning use of the IPIMD field in the OfS Portal data.
In addition, we have also released minor improvements to the accessibility of the dashboard format to support with screen reader navigation when using the dashboard template.
The AoP Dashboard can be downloaded from the File Store (members only). The File Store download also includes a support document outlining set-up instructions and key information pertaining to the dashboard.
Following the launch of this dashboard in May 2024, we are planning a significant update to the dashboard later this calendar year which will incorporate additional data and functionality to support you to use the dashboard for planning and monitoring your APPs.
The upcoming updates to the dashboard are as follows:
