Upcoming Institution record data update: UCAS Centre Codes for UK Institutions

We are pleased to announce that we have received a source dataset containing the up-to-date UCAS Centre Codes from UCAS. We will be working on updating and populating the following field in the General tab of the Institution record, for UK institutions in the coming weeks, where data is available:

• ‘UCAS Code’

This update relates to data for the 2024 Calendar Year, and will apply to Secondary and 16 Plus institutions.

We are aiming to have the updated UCAS Centre Codes populated on Institution records by the end of September 2024, but will release a Data Update as soon as this work is complete and ready to access.

For further information regarding which fields are updated on the Institution record and when, please see the Institution Profile Source resource. This can be accessed via the ellipsis (overflow menu) on any Institution record by selecting the option to ‘Download Source File’. Alternatively, this resource can be downloaded from the File Store (members only).
