Institution record data update: Characteristics data for Northern Irish Institutions

We are pleased to announce that the following fields have been updated for all Northern Irish Schools, where data is available:

• ‘Pupil Counts’
• ‘Pupil Counts by Year Group’
• ‘Free School Meals’
• ‘SEN status’

These updated fields can be found in the Pupil Counts and Pupil Characteristics sections of the Characteristics tab.

This update relates to data for the 2023/24 Academic Year, which is the most recent available dataset, and the update applies to Nursery, Primary, Special and Secondary Phase institutions.

For further information regarding which fields are updated on the Institution record and when, please see the Institution Profile Source resource. This can be accessed via the ellipsis (overflow menu) on any Institution record by selecting the option to ‘Download Source File’. Alternatively, this resource can be downloaded from the File Store (members only).
