As announced earlier this year, now that we have introduced an online training framework, we have been reviewing our suite of User Guides that are held in the LIVE database File Store. We have been working to merge these into a set of more manageable guides, which act as supplementary guides to the online training courses, which are now our primary training resource. The first of these supplementary guides, Student Ambassador Programme, was published earlier this year.
We are delighted to confirm that the second of these supplementary guides, Administering and Managing HEAT, is also now available on the File Store (members only).
This guide has been designed to accompany the Administering & Managing HEAT training course and therefore is specifically aimed at those with Coordinator level database access and who may be responsible for managing their organisation’s HEAT account. You will notice that this guide does not include content already covered in the online training course, only supplementary guidance. Therefore, to see full guidance we recommend that you use both the course and the supplementary guide together, as well as referring to the field i-Buttons.
Please note that the publication of this new consolidated guide means that we will be discontinuing the following user guides:
They will remain available for a limited period of time to allow users time to adjust and will be removed at the end of October.
If you have any queries at all about this announcement, please get in touch by emailing HEAT Support.
