To support members to get the most out of the SAP, we have created an interactive online training course which aims to help members set up and use the features on the database.
To find out more, see our short video below explaining what the SAP is, the features available, and how it can support your organisation to manage your Ambassador programme.
We offer a suite of resources to help any interested members understand how to get started using the SAP, please see the steps below.
In the first instance, please get in touch with HEAT Support, where we can switch on the SAP features you are interested in using in the DEMO database for you. You can test out the functionality, and watch our series of demonstration videos (members only) to get a broad overview of how these can support your processes at your organisation.
The new training course provides an interactive guide to all the key information members need to know in order to get the SAP up and running on the system for your organisation. It is a useful guide for anyone considering using the features, and a useful refresher for those who already do so.
Once you have acquainted yourself with the system on DEMO and have under taken the training above in which ever way suits you, please contact HEAT Support and we can enable the SAP in LIVE so you can start setting up the database to create jobs and manage your Ambassadors.
The User Guide and FAQs (members only) on the Student Ambassador Programme offer a full detailed breakdown of Ambassadors, Contracts, Expenses, Timesheets and Work Opportunities alongside a troubleshooting quick guide.
The online training courses are hosted on the University of Kent’s external Moodle system. Within this, we have our own HEAT Training area for all members to use.
To access the training courses, individuals can easily set up their own Moodle account and login. This allows access to and the monitoring of progress throughout the course, as well as the opportunity to revisit any content as required. A User Guide for setting up your account and accessing the online training course can be found on File Store (members only).
The online training courses are available to any HEAT member User who wishes to work through the content.
This is the second of HEAT’s online training courses, and we have more planned in the pipeline and so all feedback is very welcome.
If you require any support in accessing the online training courses, or if you have any queries in regard to the content of this update, please contact HEAT Support.
