Recently, we announced that HEAT would be undertaking a 1 year consultation for the system review, across the 2026/27 academic year. To support this work, the HEAT Service are hiring a temporary Business Analyst to play pivotal role in shaping the future of the HEAT system.
Working with colleagues, members and technical consultants, this post will help define the requirements for a major system rebuild, ensuring user needs are translated into clear, achievable technical specifications that support future development.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with user expectations and communicating complex concepts in a way that enables informed decision-making. This work will directly contribute to the production of the agreed system rebuild specification, helping to ensure the HEAT Service continues to meet the evolving needs of its members.
