Ongoing Resources Review: Updated Activities User Guide now available

As you may be aware, we have been undertaking a review of our member resources, which has seen the launch of a new website and the introduction of an online training framework. We hope that these changes have been helpful.

As part of this work we have also been reviewing our suite of User Guides that are held in the LIVE database File Store. We will be working over the coming months to merge these into a more manageable set of Superguides. The first step towards this has been merging information from other guides into our Activities User Guide (members only), which now means that we will be archiving the following guides:

• Activities – Registers (archived and no longer available)
• Database Activity Typology (will be available until early 2026)
• Guidance on Coding Activity Descriptors and Programme Titles for Evaluation (will be available until early 2026)

Keeping two of these guides available for a limited period will hopefully allow all members time to adjust and ensure their database Users are signposted to the updated Activities User Guide.

Next year, alongside the work on creating Superguides, we will also be looking to improve the database i-Buttons.
