We are pleased to announce the latest addition to our suite of Power BI dashboards, the Post-Entry Monitoring Dashboard. This is a new resource to support the monitoring and evaluation of your post-entry activities, expanding the HEAT Services’ set of tools and features to encompass even more of the Student life cycle.
Find out more about using HEAT to record and evaluate post-entry interventions in our Research Blog.
The new Post-Entry Monitoring Dashboard supports members to monitor data captured on the database, and the progress being made towards the evaluation of their post-entry interventions.
It provides instant analytics and insights based on post-entry Activities recorded on the database, Student engagement for both Participants and Students recorded as Comparison or Control groups, and Surveys and Evaluation Plans assigned to these Activities.
Similar to the Access Monitoring Dashboard, it provides monitoring data at multiple levels:
Furthermore, this post-entry specific dashboard features a range of filter options and additional Student characteristics relevant to post-entry interventions; for example, Student Phase (Undergraduate and Postgraduate options coming soon), Part-Time Status, Mature Student Status, and a detailed disability breakdown.
You can access the new Post-Entry Monitoring Dashboard in the File Store (members only). Make sure to also download the Post-Entry Monitoring Dashboard User Guide (members only) detailing how to extract and load your HEAT data into the template as well as other useful information.
The Post-Entry Monitoring Dashboard User Guide (members only) provides step-by-step instructions for extracting the underlying dataset and setting up the dashboard, as well as an introduction to its content and tips regarding the use of Power BI.
We will also be releasing new guidance on recording post-entry Activity and Students using the database, so please keep an eye out for this very soon!
We hope this new dashboard is a useful tool for your evaluation. If you have any questions about this announcement, please contact HEAT Support.
