Access to UCAS data via ADRN approved

We have just received the excellent news that our proposal on behalf of HEAT members to the Administrative Data Research Network (ADRN) to access UCAS data at an individual pupil/student level has been approved. Our success is especially pleasing given that only 40% of applications are approved first time around. As far as we know, this is the first approved application to access the UCAS data since the ADRN agreed to broker researcher access. HEAT Outreach participant KS4 outcomes – school comparison data

HEAT recently published an infographic comparing KS4 outcomes of outreach participants who engaged prior to Year 11 against their school average (link to download infographic). This is second in the series of reports using KS4 data; the first report looked at level of activity engagement, KS4 attainment and HE progression. This new report examines KS4 attainment in the context of the school averages. The findings show positive outcomes in the KS4 performance of outreach participants compared to their school peers.
