HEAT Registration Tool survey: full details

Thank you to all who participated in the Registration Tool survey. We have collated your feedback and the common themes are discussed here, alongside the HEAT team’s response. 67% of respondents said they were quite or very likely to use the tool to capture participant data. 71% said that, all things considered, they would like to see this tool being incorporated into the HEAT service. Providing we can still meet your basic requirements within budget, we hope that development will take place in the Spring Term, testing in the Summer Term and the tool will be available for the start of […]

HEAT membership votes for online registration tool

The HEAT membership voted recently on whether to invest HEAT resource in the development of an online registration tool that will ease the collection of registers. 70% of those who voted said that this tool would be useful and that HEAT should invest in its development. Feedback has been excellent, generating invaluable input to help identify issues and test solutions. We expect that all members will be working in HEAT2 before February […]

May 2015 Development Cycle Completed

The technicians at the HEAT Central Team have completed our April/May development target with numerous refinements and additions made to the database. Updates include a significant new data sharing feature, that enables a single Institution Group to share data with another HEI or Institution Group. This will be particularly useful for Institutions that manage multiple groups (e.g. smaller individual colleges within a larger university) and also if you are operating within an NNCO and you wish for your NNCO contact to view all your activities for instance. The full list of new features and updates is available to all of our HEAT […]
