HEAT holds second annual Symposium

The second annual HEAT Symposium took place on Monday 27th March in London. The event was very well attended by HEAT users and initial feedback was good (we will be circulating a delegate feedback questionnaire very soon). The key note speaker, Tim Leunig – Chief Analyst, Scientific Adviser and Director of the International Education Division of the DfE – gave delegates much to think about. In particular he highlighted what HEAT’s aggregated data reveal and how they can be utilised more effectively across the sector. The ARC Network presented its research into the added value that HEAT brings to its members and HEAT Central staff delivered sessions covering technical progress, research updates and data sharing. All of the PowerPoint files used during the Symposium can be downloaded from the HEAT website Resources page.
