We are delighted to announce that, as of today (20th April, 2015), the HEAT service website has now officially launched, providing visitors with a first port of call to understand how HEAT works and for existing members to access a complete training suite to help them make the most of their membership. This marks the completion of a substantial effort made by the Central Team in collaboration with Red Bullet, our external web designers and developers who have worked extremely hard to meet the team and membership’s every demand and create a site that is intuitive and easy to use.
Speaking about the new web site, Director of the HEAT project, Sharon Smith says: “it is exciting to finally have a web site to help us communicate with both current and new subscribers. The web-site will be a tool for users, partners and interested third parties nationally and maybe even world-wide. Our aim is to maintain functionality so that it remains fit for purpose and above all adds value to the service”
The new website is a first port of call for all university widening participation professionals to explore and better understand the HEAT service. It presents all of the latest news and events bookings relevant to the HEAT service, alongside comprehensive document and video training guides that cover everything from how to use the database itself, to wider support such as analysing and presenting data effectively.
